Grace CHIANG 蔣頌恩

Artistic Director

Grace graduated from the Music Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, studying voice with Chan Siu-kwan. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music Scholarship to read for a Master’s degree in Music, majoring in Historical Musicology at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she continued her vocal studies with Baritone Christian Immler.

Grace took part in conducting masterclasses and workshops of maestros Stephen Layton, Rolf Beck, James Jordan and William Weinert. Since 2011, she returned to serve at her alma mater, and led the girls’ choir to win Gold Medals at the 2012 Cincinnati, the 2014 Riga and the 2024 Auckland World Choir Games, as well as the Grand Prix Champion and Special Conductor Prize at the 2016 3rd Singapore International Choral Festival. Her choral experience has also taken her to perform in Austria, the United Kingdom, the States, Mainland China and Japan. Grace conducts various choral ensembles, and recently appeared in performances such as J. S. Bach's Magnificat, motet Jesu, meine Freude, Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, Liebeslieder Walzer, Copland’s In the Beginning, Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore, Peteris Vasks’s Kekatu dziesma, and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.

蔣頌恩為中文大學音樂系之畢業生，隨陳少君習聲樂。畢業同年獲香港賽馬會音樂獎學金前往英國倫敦大學皇家霍洛威學院修讀碩士課程，主修音樂學，並隨男中音伊姆勒習聲樂。

蔣氏曾參與Stephen Layton、Rolf Beck、James Jordan及William Weinert的大師班，現於母校任教，並帶領其女聲合唱團於2012、2014及2024年度的世界合唱比賽獲得金獎，並於2016年第三屆新加坡國際合唱節獲特別指揮獎及總冠軍。蔣氏合唱足跡遍及歐美，以及其他亞洲城市；近年指揮不同合唱團演唱巴赫《尊主頌》、經文歌《耶穌，我的喜樂》、布拉姆斯《德意志安魂曲》、《情歌圓舞曲》、柯普蘭《起初》、莫扎特《證聖者莊嚴晚禱》、羅西尼《小莊嚴彌撒曲》等。
